Shortly after finishing college and moving back home, Shelley Walten meets a medical student named Doug while on the clock at the local diner and ends up growing close with him.

This friendship-turned-crush, along with the people Shelley meets through Doug, also encourages her to leave her abusive partner and confront her own inner monsters.

A fun little romantic fantasy about love, healing, monsters for friends and roommates, and growing up.
